Welcome to St Cuthbertsview

One of very few properties with direct access to the beach, St Cuthberts is one of 6 cottages making up Monks House. The cottage combines tasteful furnishings with a cosy atmosphere and perfect location, nestling in the dunes between Bamburgh and Seahouses. Dating back to the 12th Century and originally a store house for the monks on the Farne Islands, it now offers the perfect base for exploring the area and enjoying the fabulous beach on its doorstep.

fireplaceThe cottage sleeps 8 comfortably in 4 bedrooms, 3 of which have sea views out to the Farne Islands.

St Cuthberts is a non-smoking cottage and is not suitable for pets.

Our Self Catering Cottages are set in some of the most stunning locations on the Northumbrian Coast.

Ground floor – welcoming lounge with wood-burning stove, leading to dining area with spectacular sea view; fully equipped kitchen (including dishwasher);shower room; separate toilet; Bedroom/2nd sitting room with full size bunk beds and en suite shower room;washing machine/tumble dryer.

First floor - Large, airy double bedroom with super king size bed; cosy double bedded room; twin bedded room and bathroom.

Externally – Patio with garden furniture, lawn to stream and beach beyond. Please note parking is not permitted adjacent to the cottage but there is parking available close by.
